• To design, develop, promote, and foster social studies and research with a human rights focus and with the objective of identifying and proposing social development models appropriate to the country’s needs and realities. • To promote the respect for and to guarantee human rights within the country through research as well as design, monitoring, follow-up and evaluation of public policy. To contribute to raising the quality of democracy and democratic institutions and to civic and citizen awareness-raising through a diversity of activities. • To strengthen the work of organised civil society dedicated to social issues through fostering training and group work. • To carry monitoring of and advocacy within public policy in the areas of social development, democracy and social dialogue. • To promote the design, elaboration, implementation, and evaluation of social programmes and projects in collaboration with both national and international institutions from the public as well as the private spheres. • To establish spaces for dialogue with the federal government, the Mexican Congress, international bodies, academics, opinion leaders and civil society organisations that work with issues in common with the INCIDE Social. • To offer training and consulting to a diversity of social actors in the areas of education, health, nutrition, work, social and cultural development, economy, finance and communication. • To foster the participation of civil society within public policy discussion spaces. • To share, through all kinds of media, information on the issues relating to the interests of INCIDE Social.
